On May 16 (Friday) 2025, the Knowledge Management Center (KMCC), in collaboration with the Faculty of Information Sciences and Computer Engineering (FINKI), conducted an educational visit to three schools in the Municipality of Shuto Orizari.

The primary schools "26 Juli" and "Braka Ramiz i Hamid", as well as the secondary school SUGS "Shaip Yusuf" were visited and over 300 students were reached.

This activity took place within the framework of the MKSafeNet project - Center for Safer Internet, which aims to raise awareness of Internet safety among young people. During the visit, the students were presented with educational materials and interactive presentations that address key topics related to the safe and responsible use of digital technologies.

Students had the opportunity to actively engage in discussions, ask questions and receive advice on how to protect themselves from cyber threats, online fraud, misuse of personal data and other risks lurking in the digital world. The presentations were tailored to the age and interests of the students, in order to ensure a better understanding of the content and greater motivation for practical application.

Teachers and school principals expressed their gratitude for the initiative and emphasized the importance of such activities, especially in communities where digital literacy and access to information are a challenge. Representatives of the Center for Knowledge Management and FINKI, in turn, emphasized that such outreach activities are essential for bringing the topic closer to young people and encouraging positive digital habits.

The Center for Knowledge Management (CKM) continues its mission to educate and protect children and youth in the online space, through cooperation with educational institutions, local communities and experts in the field of cybersecurity. This visit represents just one step in a broader strategy to build a safer and more aware digital future for all.
