Within the framework of the MKSafenet project, on May 21, 2025, the Center for Knowledge Management visited the Kiro Gligorov Elementary School – Center, Skopje.

Andrijana Bogdanovska Gj, Bisera SMilevska and Julius Frank  conducted two information sessions for the students and teachers from this school.

The main goal of the educational visit was to raise awareness among children, young people and teachers about the importance of Internet safety, recognizing and dealing with behaviour as cyberbullying, understanding Internet risks, as well as encouraging responsible digital behavior.

At a time when digital tools are increasingly present in everyday life and education, timely information of children and young people as well as teachers in schools about the potential risks and responsibilities when using the Internet is a key step towards creating a safer and supportive online environment.

The sessions were organized in an interactive manner, allowing pupils to share their own experiences, ask questions, and discuss topics that directly affect them. Teachers, in turn, received useful information and tools that they can apply in their daily work with students.

The Center for Knowledge Management (CKM) within the framework of the MKSafenet project will continue to implement activities aimed at promoting digital literacy and raising awareness about internet safety in primary and secondary schools across the country.

We believe that through wide educational approach, institutional cooperation, and engagement of all stakeholders, we will contribute to creating a safer, more informed, and more responsible digital community for children and youth in the Republic of North Macedonia
