Marjan Gushev is a computer scientists and professor at University Sts. Cyril and Methodius, at Faculty of Information Sciences and Computer Engineering, specializing in parallel processing, computer networks and Internet technologies. In 1985 he graduated at University Sts. Cyril and Methodius, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics with award for outstanding success. In 1989 he obtained the M.Sc. degree (M.Sc thesis entitled "Parallel Processing Algorithms") from the same University, and in 1992 the doctoral degree (Ph.D. thesis entitled "Processor array implementations of systems of affine recurrence equations in digital signal processing") from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. In the period of 1991-1992 he has pursued doctoral research at Parallel Algorithm Research Centre at Loughborough University of Technology, UK.
As a professor he is teaching several courses related to Informatics, computer architecture and networks, parallel processing, Internet programming and technologies. He was mentor for 10 M.Sc and 5 Ph.D candidates. He is an author and co-author of 18 books, 51 publications in reviewed international journals, 91 articles in reviewed international conference proceedings, presented more than 86 presentations on conferences, workshops and seminars; and also designed 17 software applications. As invited speaker he held presentations at Universities in Belgrade, Ljubljana, Nis, Loughborough, Washington, Hagen and London. D-r Gushev has performed research in parallel processing, Internet technologies, e-business, mobile and wireless applications, computer architecture and networks. As a presenter and participant he attended more than 125 internationally conferences, workshops and seminars in Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Denmark, Great Britain, Germany, Italy and USA. D-r Gushev has coordinated and managed 17 international and 5 domestic projects, as expert for projects that include research and development, curricula development and university management, knowledge management, network of excellence etc. He is a member of several professional organizations and bodies, consultant for information technology of ministries and government committees, teams for development of national IT strategies, academic and other institutions, president of IT experts council of MASIT, e-Government task force etc. He organized 7 international conferences, 19 workshops, and 7 seminars in the field of e-Government, e-Education and Internet technologies. He initiated, organized and managed laboratories for wireless applications, new innovative technologies, parallel processing. He is director of regional CISCO academy, Microsoft academy and Pearson Vue testing centre.
Mirjana Stankovic holds a PhD from the Institute of Economics, University Ss Cyril and Methodius, Skopje, Macedonia. She is also a holder of an LL.M. degree in International Intellectual Property Law from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, where she finished first in her class in Spring 2010. She has been a Visiting Scholar at the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University, for which she has won the World Bank Robert McNamara fellowship. She is also a recipient of a Centre for International Cooperation and Development (CICOPS) scholarship from the University of Pavia, Italy. Dr. Stankovic has also been a Fulbright Fellow and a Visiting Scholar at Duke University School of Law, researching the legal aspects of technology transfer as a factor for economic growth of developing countries. She already holds an LL.M. in International Business Law granted by the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary.
Mr. Vladimir Dukovski, PhD, is a regular professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje. Professor V. Dukovski is one of the leading experts in the field of quality management, management of the development of new products/ processes, management of processes and automation.
He completed his graduate studies in the USSR, in the field of production technologies, then he took MSc and PhD studies at the University in Zagreb, in the field of automation. He exercised his post-PhD research at the Cornell University (USA), under the Fulbright Scholarship, while he also spent time at the Business School, Arizona State University.
He has held lectures at the University of Bradford (UK), as well as at the University in Pristina and MBA studies organized together with the Maastricht School of Management. For many years, he has been a consultant to a number of production and non-production (mainly IT) companies, for issues related to quality management, development of products/ services, ERP, process approach and automation.
He has been awarded numerous recognitions for his patents and high scientific achievements. He is the author and co-author of more than 300 scientific and professional articles, projects, monographs and textbooks.
Prof. LJUPCHO ANTOVSKI, PhD Prof. Ljupcho Antovski holds a PhD in Information Technology, currently working as an associate professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Mr. Antovski key qualifications cover his experience with the design and the implantation of one of the first epayment banking system iBank in Serbia, and the first e-learning platforms on the Balkans. He holds PhD in IT, Microsoft Certifies Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD), Cisco Academy CCNA instructor, etc. His project experience covers numerous projects in the area of analysis and drafting specifications in the area of ICT according to PRAG/EU and national rules in the public policy sector.
