On September 25, 2026, the ReSkill50 project successfully organized an online information session, bringing together 15 women aged 50+ across North Macedonia from the creative sector.
The session introduced participants to the project’s vision, outlined the key training topics, and presented the roadmap for the upcoming digital and entrepreneurial capacity-building program.
Bridging Experience and Digital Innovation
ReSkill50 is an initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. It is implemented by a transnational partnership consisting of Slow Tourism Alto Adige (Italy), the Association of citizens for improvement of artisans’ work and handicrafts “MATA” (North Macedonia)
and the Center for Knowledge Management (CKM, North Macedonia). The project addresses the challenges faced by creative women aged 50–64 who experience barriers to professional reintegration due to digital skill gaps or career transitions.
Comprehensive Training Plan and Key Topics
During the info session, participants were briefed on a modular curriculum designed specifically for the creative and cultural sectors. The training plan combines 48 hours of interactive live sessions with at least 40 hours of self-paced study on an open-access e-learning platform.
Key topics presented during the session include:
1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Creatives: Harnessing AI tools for digital design, content creation, and workflow automation.
2. Digital Marketing & E-Commerce: Developing online presence, social media strategies, branding, and navigating digital selling platforms
3. Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship: Budgeting, pricing creative products, and understanding tax compliance for freelancers and small businesses.
4. Soft Skills & Career Support: Strengthening confidence, communication, and adaptability in a changing job market.
reskill50+ Innovative Mentorship and Networking
Following the training modules, participants will engage in a “reverse mentoring” program where young, digital-native professionals teach women tech skills in exchange for their industry expertise and creative business wisdom. The project also offers structured networking events connecting participants directly with employers, recruiters, and investors across Europe.
Through these tailored activities, ReSkill50 aims to empower creative women to achieve digital certification, gain financial independence, and successfully transition into employment, freelancing, or small business ownership
