On April 2, 2025, the Center for Knowledge management successfully conducted a visit to the Blaze Koneski Primary School in the Aerodrom Municipality, Skopje, where students and teachers had the opportunity to learn about the basic principles of safe internet use.
Pupils were informed about how to protect their personal data, how to recognize and avoid online threats, and how to react safely in the digital world from a young age. Through interactive discussion and play, they learned how to be responsible and careful internet users.
Teachers received useful guidance on how to increase their attention and protect students from potential online dangers. They were also presented with strategies for improving digital security in the school, ensuring a safe and healthy digital environment for students. Through concrete examples and practical guidance, teachers learned the basic rules of digital security that they should apply in their workplace, such as avoiding suspicious links and controlling personal information shared online.
They were also introduced to the trends and risks arising from the analysis report of the Survey for Teachers and Professors: Safe Internet for Children and Youth, conducted by the Knowledge Management Center.
The Internet is a powerful tool, but we must use it responsibly and safely!
This school visit is part of a series of activities that the Knowledge Management Center, within the framework of the MKSafeNet project, organizes throughout the schools in the country, in order to create a safer online environment for everyone.
