On 26th and 27th September, the Circular HRM project partnership, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme, met for the first time in Galway, Ireland ! The project consortsium is led by Pour la Solidarité-PLS.
When referring to the circular economy, there is a lack of reflection on the management of people, particularly in the workplace. However, if our economy aims to promote more responsible production and consumption patterns, it would appear obvious that we cannot continue to ignore the human dimension of this transition and what it implies in terms of transforming human's management.
The Circular HRM project began in September 2019 and will end in December 2021. It is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, which supports the development of innovative training in the workplace. The objective of the project is to develop training modules for HR managers and managers to integrate the principles of the circular economy into the HRM of companies.
The Circular HRM launch meeting was held in Galway in September 2019. The strength of this project comes from the complementary and expertise of the 8 organizations involve in the project; each partner has a specific role in the project based on its experience and ability to work with the relevant stakeholders.
The first phase of the project is to clarify what a circular human resources management practice is and to identify existing practices that could be considered as circular ones.
Throughout the project, we want to integrate the HRM stakeholders to obtain their opinion on our activities and results.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to be informed about the advancement of the project !
